Traction/EOS is my abbreviation for the Entrepreneurial Opearating System®. This simple, yet powerful management operating system was developed specifically for companies with revenues under $50 million.

Traction/EOS optimizes business performance, increases CEO confidence, and builds company value by maximizing leadership team effectiveness.  It focuses on the “three A’s” — alignment, action, accountability.

Summary
Small one-time project for EOS® self-implementing companies, providing useful feedback for improved performance.  This service is not a thinly disguised sales pitch for EOS Facilitation Services.  It is also offered by someone who has facilitated 200 L10 meetings.

Description
Total of 9 hours, split between document review, L10 observation, report prep, meeting to review recommendations, telephone follow-up.

  • Interview of CEO re issues, perceived obstacles (1.5 hours)
  • Review documents – V/TO™, Accountability Chart, Rocks, To-Do’s, L10 Agenda, others as appropriate (2 hours)
  • Observation in L10 meeting, plus preview with CEO (1.5 hours)
  • Write up observations and recommendations: 1-2 pages (1 hour)
  • Review report, with focus on recommendations (1.5 hours)
  • Telephone follow-up, within 90 days (1.5 hours)

Traction® Introduction + Fit Assessment

Thinking about adopting Traction®/EOS® for your company?  Look before you leap.

Invest some time in an interactive Introduction, along with a Fit Assessment.  Not every company is ready to implement the system with optimal results.

Work with an EOS expert who assumes that you will self-implement.  Lots of EOS Implementers will conduct a 90-minute meeting with your leadership team, but it’s really a sales pitch for that individual’s services as your EOS Facilitator.  Take that step AFTER you have established a “Fit” between your company and EOS.

Here are some of the questions in our 14-point Traction Fit Assessment:

  1. Do you have a leadership team (LT) of four or more individuals?
  2. Are there clear and distinct areas of responsibility for each LT member?
  3. Are the LT members incented to achieve company goals as well as individual goals?
  4. Are you willing to invest 1-2 hours per week in an LT meeting, following a structured agenda? (This meeting can be in-person or virtual.)

Our Traction Introduction + Fit Assessment includes the following components:

  • A copy of the paperback edition of Traction by Gino Wickman, the book that explains EOS.
  • A 2-hour class providing an EOS overview with opportunities for Q&A.
  • An online Fit Assessment questionnaire. You will receive a score, along with a recommended minimum score for proceeding with EOS.
  • A private 30-minute telephone consultation on your Fit Assessment and your company-specific questions.
